Close to the German border lies the beautiful accommodation of RS2 Dressage. The entire facility is designed with attention to detail, especially with the horse in mind. The RS2 Dressage location in Groesbeek was formerly the riding school where owner Saskia Lemmens rode. Eventually, this riding school was purchased and renovated into what it is today.

At RS2 Dressage, the most important thing is that the horses enjoy the sport. Rider Marieke van de Putten can attest to this. “There is no pressure, and that is, of course, very nice for me. I can really give the horses the time to develop calmly.” This approach is paying off, as Marieke has achieved many successes with various horses over the past few years, both nationally and internationally.

At competitions and two mornings a week, regular trainer Marion Schreuder comes to the stable to coach riders Marieke and Marijn. “Here, I can fully concentrate on the sport and my own development. I find it very special that I have this opportunity now. It is great to work in a team; there is always someone who can help me,” says Marijn van Dijk. According to Marion, everyone at RS2 Dressage shares the same philosophy. “Saskia and Jacques prefer that everything goes in harmony. The horses must be able to handle the work easily, so it must be realistic what you ask of a horse.”

In addition to Marieke and Marijn, RS2 Dressage has literally helped Paralympic champion Sanne Voets and U25 rider Zoë Kuintjes get in the saddle. Both have been provided with an RS2 horse to compete at the top level. Moreover, Saskia and Jacques regularly sponsor events to give the sport a boost.
