Marieke van der Putten
Marieke was born in 1982 in Heemskerk. From an early age she knew one thing for sure: “I am a born horse girl”.
Marieke grew up in the stables at the Beverwijk riding center of Frans La Croix, where she eventually worked for a number of years. She was then able to further develop her ambitions at Stal Sprenghorst of Rien van der Schaft.
After 11 years of development, she started as a stable rider at Glock Horse Performance Center with Edward Gal, Hans Peter Minderhout and Nicole Werner. She gained national and international fame by successfully riding various young horses and horses at the highest level.
In 2017 she made the choice to work with RS2 Dressage. She got various horses to ride, which she trained from an early age up to the Grand Prix. Marieke has become known as an RS2 rider since she has finished high during competitions from 2021 onwards. A very good example of Marieke’s talent and perseverance is the combination Tørveslettens Titanium RS2 N.O.P.. In 2024, Marieke became Team NL’s 2nd reserve for the Olympic Games in Paris with this horse.
Marijn van Dijk
Marijn was born in 1991 in Amersfoort.
Marijn does not come from a horse family, but even as a child she knew that she belonged among horses. After obtaining her Equestrian Diploma at NHB Deurne, she was a stable rider with Anky van Grunsven for 3 years. Marijn then ran her own dressage stable for 7 years, where she gained a lot of experience in showing and training (young) dressage horses to the highest attainable level. She has also been active as a test rider for KWPN in the performance test of young dressage stallions.
During her first performance as a test rider, Marijn rode the approved stallion Jameson RS2, where she caught the attention of the owner of RS2 Dressage. Ultimately, this became the start of a wonderful collaboration.
Marijn has now been working at RS2 Dressage since 2023. Here she is busy training young horses and riding horses at light tour level.
